How to use Photograph frames successfully The Buffalo Frame

The two rooms where the family comes together and where you entertain are normally the living room or the kitchen and this is the obvious place to show your memorable and treasured photographs.

Most photographs have a story to tell and a simple way to show them off is by grouping them together on window sills, tastefully placing them on shelves, alongside ornaments and books or on side tables under lamps. Additionally, hang them on walls, thereby creating a gallery that encourages people to ask about them and for you to appreciate them. Create a ‘photographic mural’ that stimulates conversation and proud memories. There is an ‘art form’ to arranging photograph The Gable Frameframes, hanging pictures and most importantly selecting which frames compliment the character’s face or event and whether they look right next to each other.

When displaying your photographs, I suggest that you combine the occasions, faces and events in a natural and random way so, it looks relaxed and not ‘over-designed’.

So, you have selected the important photographs and the next step is preparing them to fit into the frames which are normally either 10x15 cm or 12.5x18cm or 20x25.5cm. The Imperial equivalent of these metric measurements is – 4”x 6” or 5”x 7" or 8”x 10”.

It is advisable, when purchasing frames to choose different materials, colours and sizes for variety and impact. However, repeat colours and materials look effective and link the frames’ to provide continuity.
