This timeless 19th century French design influenced this commission but we softened it by painting it in a calm, Swedish cream colour and lime-washed the top for a weathered look. Its hand carved cabriole legs and scallop-shaped edges and underpiece create a soft, flowing design.
It is an ideal bedside table or either side of sofa or armchair in a living room - the French Montmartre lamp is perfect on top and the Flagon vase underneath creates a chic look. It is wonderful with traditional European interiors, either in a rural or urban setting.
