Dresden, the German city of culture and artistic splendour and the Royal Residence of the Kings of Saxony was the inspiration for this elegant circular table on an impressive triple support.
We have had the top gently limewashed to an antiqued finish (just like the Gothenburg dining chairs). The central support is hand carved with a reeded baluster on a tripod base, painted a quiet shade of cream.
For a dinner party of 4-6, the circular version is excellent. When you extend your hospitality to 6-8, the table becomes an oval with the addition of the extra leaf which slips easily into the centre. A table which offers you a flexible and practical opportunity to accommodate your chosen party, whether in traditional or contemporary interior schemes.
