We commissioned a slender, minimalist table and our Vietnamese furniture maker produced this useful console in vintage Chinese red lacquer enabling it to be used in a hall or behind a living room sofa to hold additional lighting, as a drinks bar or a serving table in a dining area or on the landing.
Its deep claret colour and thoroughbred shape looks magnificent with light and bright modern schemes but with its clean lines it is adaptable with traditional furnishings to create a stunning statement.
