The continuing popularity of the Lotus storage box, encouraged us to commission another one, the Karika, which is hand painted and inspired from a 16th century French Polynesian design we found in a grand villa on the island of Bora Bora.
The chilli red and buttermilk cream colours are slightly antiqued so, that this practical and attractive box fits perfectly with trendy urban or classic rural interior schemes.
They look superb as a pair or eye-catching as a single or combine the designs of Lotus and Karika for a glamorous statement. They can be used in the living room, as extra seating either side of the fireplace or side tables to a sofa and armchair or in the study/office to store archived papers or the children’s playroom to store toys and are sufficiently sturdy to sit on.
