This simple but elegant chair was inspired by an early 18th century Swedish original, found in Gothenburg. Here both Swedes and Scots founded dynasties who were patrons of some of the most sophisticated cabinet makers.
Our bespoke dining chair, has a slatted frame back and a decorative ball design along the edge and is made of a hardwood in a specialist limewash finish. There are engraved cartouches at the top of the legs and each leg is elegantly turned and reeded. The seat is upholstered in a beige coloured linen/cotton.
The subtle colour of the antiqued finish and seat covering allows this chair to blend easily with traditional furniture as well as looking superb with modern pieces. It completes the Dresden Dining Table as a set and looks magnificent.
