Dinner for Two

Informal dining can be chic, easy and affordable using a palette of just three colours and repeating them throughout the room. We have anchored the look with black and cream with our bone-inlaid place mats, coasters and herb pots, accompanied by the striped side cabinet and black topped sideboard. It is softened with the plain cream napkin rings, tazza and urns. The shimmering silver of the candlesticks, votive candles, tray, pitcher, ice bucket and elegant vase create touches of glamour.

To create a romantic dinner which is informal yet stunning, just keep it simple but repetitive. Choose a maximum of three colours, with only one or two dominant, and repeat them throughout the scheme. Add a sparkle with a bright colour or silver. Bon appétit!
