This hallway of a Georgian farmhouse has been given a face-lift by introducing a French chateau look. We chose an attractive Provencal wing armchair, upholstered in a beige-olive linen fabric with a camel and burgundy velvet cushion, that looks superb in the winter and summer. The grand, 18th century French-inspired console table anchors the scheme of the room with its durable, jet black surface and weathered wood frame. The design of the grey candle sconces were influenced by originals we found in a French chateau and fit perfectly with the pair of fruit tazzas. The vibrant patterned throws hanging up, inject a dash of colour and the ornate, hand carved marble vase and unique bone-inlaid trinket boxes lend European style and interest.
