Chairs

Our range of chairs includes dining chairs, hall chairs, study chairs and armchairs for sitting rooms. The materials used are mainly solid wood decorated with a whitewash finish, paint, polish or inlaid bone. Some are in shining lacquers. There are several styles and each one is hand made by skilled craftsmen. Our chairs are handcrafted. The bone inlaid chairs are made in solid wood and the bone pieces carefully cut to a design and then precisely laid into the carved areas.

The lacquer chairs are made using the ancient technique of layers of lacquer which produce a deep and lasting sheen. The frames of our upholstered chairs are made of solid wood, hand carved and then finished with a special whitewash seal. The upholstery is a hardwearing cotton linen in a soft khaki colour which blends with many colour schemes.
